A quick edit of some drone shots that I was able to capture from a recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. I had the privilege of growing up in Kailua Kona and it was great to be back and use my DJI Phantom to capture some of my favorite spots. I was able to take the drone to Waipio Valley, shot my brothers bodyboarding at Kona Inn, the annual Roots Bodyboarding contest at Honls, and some paddle boarding near the Kailua Pier. It has been one of my favorite uses for drones and a great way to see Hawaii by air.
